Facebook has a built-in metrics program called Insights.  It is available for all Pages, and it's free.

If you are serious about Facebook (and of course - you should be) then it is essential that you develop a comprehensive understanding of Facebook Insights.  Anyone can click on the Insights link and look at some stats - but you need to do more.

You need to know which metrics to look at, and why.  You need to know the difference between vanity metrics and metrics that are meaningful.  You need to know how to use metrics strategically, to guide your Facebook planning, rather than as metrics you simply slap in a report.  In short, you need to get serious

So let's get started.

You can access Insights via your Admin Panel toolbar.  How it appears will depend on whether you have the Admin Panel set to Show or Hide.
